As palladium is one of the rarest metals in the world, many investors are purchasing palladium bars with a millesimal fineness of .9995. Palladium bars also tend to cost less than palladium coins and, as a result, have become a popular option for investors looking to diversify their portfolios. While palladium doesn’t get as much attention as other precious metals, it’s still an exciting investment alternative that should not be overlooked.

If you’re interested in palladium as an investment asset, palladium bars are the answer. They are easily stored and available in a range of sizes to suit your budget. Better still, Capital Gold Group makes it easy for you to purchase palladium bars that have been produced by some the world’s most respected refiners, such as PAMP Suisse, Credit Suisse, and Valcambi.

Why Buy Palladium Bars?

Firstly, demand for palladium is on the rise, however, supply is decreasing. It’s mainly the automobile sector that is responsible for the swelling demand because it uses the largest percentage of palladium every year. This is due to the implementation of new automobile emission standards which have forced the industry to use palladium to make catalytic converters that remove targeted pollutants. Although platinum can also be used to combat this problem, palladium is cheaper and eliminates the need for costly platinum.

In addition to having its uses in the motor industry, palladium is used in jewelry, dentistry, electrical components, and medical instruments among other things. By boasting so many important and practical uses, palladium has become an effective and affordable investment option. When you combine the rising demand and the decreasing supply, it comes as no surprise that palladium prices are expected to jump over time.

Buy Palladium Bars to Build Your Wealth

Investing in palladium bars that consist of .9995 palladium is easy when you buy through Capital Gold Group. We not only stock some of the most sought-after palladium bars but we can also source any bar of interest to you. Below, we’ve shared just a few examples of the palladium bars you can purchase for your collection or investment portfolio.

PAMP Suisse Palladium Bars

Established in Switzerland in 1977, PAMP Suisse was the first refiner to feature an artistic design on a precious metals bar. The design in question is none other than the world-famous Lady Fortuna, which is available in a wide range of sizes from 1 gram to 1 kilogram. PAMP Suisse also produces Lady Fortuna Palladium Multigram Bars that consist of either 12 or 25 1 gram bars.

On the obverse side of the single Lady Fortuna Palladium Bar is the iconic image of Lady Fortuna, a Roman goddess wearing a blindfold and holding onto the many riches coming from the cornucopia on her head. The reverse isn’t as decorative and features the PAMP Suisse logo, along with the bar’s weight, purity and metal content.

The Multigram Lady Fortuna Palladium Bar is a combination of 12 or 25 1 gram Lady Fortuna Bars that can be separated into individual ingots. Whether you choose a single bar or Multigram Bar, all PAMP Suisse Palladium Bars come fully encapsulated with Veriscan technology to help reduce the risk of counterfeit bars.

Credit Suisse Palladium Bars

Ranging from 1 oz. to 10 oz., Credit Suisse Palladium Bars are an ideal choice for investors wishing to accumulate palladium. They are produced by the famous, Credit Suisse, a Switzerland-based multinational financial services holding company with an outstanding reputation within the precious metals sector.

The obverse side of all Credit Suisse Palladium Bars displays the company logo above the weight, purity, metal content, and assayer’s mark. Each bar will also feature a unique serial number on its obverse. The Credit Suisse logo in a repeating design and set at a 45-degree angle is the only marking situated on the reverse. However, some Credit Suisse Palladium Bars have a plain reverse, depending on the size of the bar or the year of issue.

Valcambi Suisse Palladium Bars

Founded in 1961, Valcambi Suisse is a private mint situated in Balerna, Switzerland with a reputation for producing high-quality bullion products. Among those products are the mints Valcambi Suisse Palladium Bars in 1000 g, 500 g, 100 g and 50 g, as well as 1 oz. weights.

The obverse side of all Valcambi Suisse Palladium Bars is engraved with the mint logo plus the bar’s weight, purity, and metal content. On the reverse is what appears to be an expanding company logo and the mint’s name, Valcambi Suisse.

Valcambi Suisse is also well-known for its rectangular Palladium CombiBar, made from 50 individual 1 gram palladium bars. This special bar works in the same way as PAMP Suisse’s Multigram Bar because it can be divided up into separate 1 gram bars. On the obverse of each 1 gram Valcambi Suisse Palladium CombiBar is the engraving Valcambi Suisse, along with the weight, metal content, and purity. The markings on the reverse are the same; however, they are not displayed on each individual 1 gram bar. Instead, it is the combination of all 50 1 gram bars that make up the design, which means the reverse design will be incomplete once a 1 gram bar is removed.

Engelhard Palladium Bars

Not manufactured since the late 1980s, Engelhard Palladium Bars are highly desired pieces, mainly because Engelhard was once the largest and perhaps the most respected precious metals refiners in the world. The brand sold bullion bars between the 1970s and 1980s, meaning all Engelhard Palladium Bars are now considered vintage items.

Minted from .999 pure palladium, Engelhard Bars can be found in a small range of sizes, with the rarest being the 10 oz. Engelhard Palladium Bar. On the obverse are the brand logo and the bar’s weight, metal content, purity and the company name. Towards the bottom of the bar is the unique serial number. The reverse displays a diagonal repeating Engelhard logo.

As Engelhard Palladium Bars can only be purchased via the secondary market, the condition of these bars will vary. It’s also important to know that, although vintage, these bars are eligible for precious metals Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
