ATB Quarters

ATB Quarters

Key Features

  • Series includes 56 commemorative Quarters
  • Issued between 2010 and 2021
  • Contains 5 oz of .999 fine silver
  • Produced in limited quantities
  • Obverse features George Washington
  • Each issue has a different national park or site on the reverse

Introduced in 2010, the ATB Quarters series is a stunning collection of coins that honor America’s national parks and sites.

After the success of the 50 States Quarters program, the United States Mint released the ATB Quarters series, starting in 2010. The program honors the national parks and other national sites and is scheduled to end when the final coin is released in 2021. Each coin features a unique reverse design to represent each of the 50 States, plus the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa.

On the obverse of each ATB Quarter is an updated version of the bust featured on the 1932 George Washington Quarter. However, IN GOD WE TRUST is displayed to the right of George Washington’s head, with LIBERTY added to the left. Also, QUARTER DOLLAR has been placed under the bust, instead of the mintage year.

Along with the 56 Clad ATB Quarters, 56 five ounce Bullion ATB Quarters composed of .999 fine silver are being issued as well. Since 1999, five new ATB Quarters have been released each year, and the series will conclude in 2021 with one final coin.

They are produced in limited quantities and come with a certificate of authenticity. Furthermore, all Uncirculated ATB Quarters are placed in a plastic capsule before being arranged in a special presentation case.
